(MOSH) Museum of Science and History
MOSH is proud to partner with several museums including the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), the Florida Museum of Natural History, and the Florida Aquarium. MOSH Discovery Camps are designed to bring the exciting world of science to children of all ages. Each child will have their exhibit to showcase their work. This will allow children to interact and learn along with other children in a safe, positive environment. The Museum of Science and History has been a leader in the science and technology field since its founding in 1890. In addition to science, the Museum also offers educational programs, historical tours, and film festivals. There are a variety of activities to choose from that will be fun, exciting, and educational for children of all ages.
During the Science & Adventure Day, each child will be able to participate in hands-on science exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations about science and technology. The Discovery Camps are designed to help children develop skills that will be valuable for them throughout life. When the child comes home, they will be able to demonstrate their new findings in front of their family and friends. These exhibits are designed to give kids hands-on experiences with things they can use in the real world such as building an aquarium, a telescope or working on a science experiment. The MOSH Discovery Camps also include activities and programs that allow kids to develop an interest in science and technology so that they have a passion for learning more about the world around them as they age.
The Museum of Science and History’s Discovery Camps are a wonderful way to learn about science and technology in a fun, engaging, and rewarding environment. The Museum of Science and History (MOSH) Discovery Camps provide children with an opportunity to explore and discover the world through hands-on science activities. Discovery campers will be allowed to design, create, and build a science fair project by using a variety of tools such as plastic cards, markers, and crayons. They will then display their project at the MOSH Exhibit Gallery and in the Museum Store.
